Just found out from Mick Mars on Twitter that his hero Jeff Beck has passed away.

It was confirmed on his official Twitter account that the legendary guitarist died yesterday at age 78 from bacterial meningitis.
On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss. pic.twitter.com/4dvt5aGzlv

My heart goes out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
I can’t help but notice a certain irony in the news breaking today as it’s the last day of Bowiemas, and the anniversary of when the news broke about Bowie’s passing in 2016, also the day after.
Jeff was the special guest at Bowie’s July 3rd, 1973 show. The show was filmed but none of the versions below included these songs with Beck. But was found on a bootlegged early (possibly Italian) version and you can watch it below:
